We are dedicated to having an excellent bible school program. Classes are available for everyone, from babies to the elderly. Our teachers are devoted to preparing and teaching classes of the highest quality. Our youth minister does a wonderful job with our middle school and high school students. Bible classes are offered on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. and Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m.
The Stantonville Church of Christ Youth Group is made up of teenagers who are committed to serving the Lord in a culture where it is very unpopular to do just that. Our mission is striving to grow closer together by growing closer to the Lord. Not one person in this group is perfect – or even close – but we are blessed serve a Savior who is. We hurt together, rejoice together, serve together and grow together: we are a family. Though we attend different schools, come from different families and have different struggles we are one in Christ (Galatians 3:28). We would love for you to join us in this journey!
Austen Oakley is the current youth minister at the Stantonville congregation. The youth group participates in many events that are aimed at building friendships, making memories and growing closer to God. A few of the activities that we are involved in include the Challenge Youth Conference in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., RUSH at Freed-Hardeman University, area wide youth devotionals, youth retreats, service projects and Mid-South Youth Camp.
Our ministry program exists to show the love of Christ and serve our community by meeting people where they are. Currently, this ministry serves a home delivered to meal to anyone in McNairy County who would like a hot meal. The whole congregation is involved in this ministry.
Once a month, the “Lunch Gang” takes a road trip for a meal, fun and fellowship. Past trips have included the Loveless Cafe, the Rib Shack, Cracker Barrel and Cheddars.
